Congratulations! Rishitha Kudaravalli receives the Advancing Women in Science Scholarship from the Northeastern University College of Science.
We are so proud of the work Rishi has done in the lab and are grateful that her hard work is being recognized. The scholarship funds opportunities for women in STEM that they would otherwise not have access to, like research assistantships.
Congratulations! Haley Hegefeld’s poster submission is accepted for the 2022 Society for Affective Science Conference.
Haley will present her poster, "Investigating emotion fluency's relations with verbal fluency and emotion functioning," at this year's virtual conference.
Congratulations! Alina Quach receives the 2021 Trainee Professional Development Award at SfN annual meeting.
The Trainee Professional Development Award is given to trainees "who demonstrate scientific merit and excellence in research." Alina will present her work on sensory preconditioning in development at the virtual annual meeting. We are so proud of Alina!

Congratulations! Victoria McCray is a recipient of the Paul and Grace Ward Martinez (’48) Research Fellowship.
The award from Paul and Grace Ward Martinez will support Victoria, an Honors Thesis undergraduate student, while she pursues her project on the effects of cannabis use for people with psychosis in the Learning and Brain Development Lab.
